Tamarind Dhow sails twice a day, one may choose lunch, shaded from the midday sun by the Tamarinds Dhow’s canvas awning, or a romantic candle lit dinner under a star filled sky. After a cruise round Tudor Creek with fine views of Mombasa's Old Town, and Fort Jesus, the Tamarind Dhow moors in a sheltered bay at the head of the creek. At this point, the fine aroma of grilled lobster, and steak starts to fill the air as the chefs pull out the charcoal grills and prepare a gourmet four-course meal. |
With attentive service to match the cuisine, ones meal draws to a close, while the waiters serve coffee from a traditional East African brass coffee service. By then, the band is in full swing, playing a variety of popular rhythms, which soon have the majority of guests dancing on the main deck. |
